Kids Nowadays

As much as I'm sure that I'm just turning crotchedy before my time, kids nowadays are fucking annoying.

Travelling about during the mornings, I momentarily feel happy that it should be empty on the trains and buses. But never quite because fucking kids are everywhere but you know, school. This one bold one on my bus was calling out to her friends leisurely strolling down the street to ask what period it was at school. What the hell does she care? Obviously, if she gave a shit, she'd be sitting in class or something. And if I have to endure another loud ass, rat-faced and malnourished looking fourteen year old talking about how she's juggling five dudes and tell them that she needs sex once a day (at least), I'm gonna fucking vomit. For real.

Yeah,
The bus sucks. All them damn kids taking up the seats in the back. Here I am trying to get to work and I get the ice grill and the teeth suck for telling a fast girl (yeah I pulled out an old school term)to remove her drawstring bag out of the seat.
Some of the convos I've heard are quite sick. I'd have received the smackdown for simply thinking it. Why is it that the illest conversations come from the mouths of young girls. Yeah, the dudes talk about baggin' chicks, sorta casually. The young women get down right explicit. But I'd be remiss to say that the more absurd anecdotes I heard was a 15 year old talking about robbing fellow students.

The Q85 sucks, so I simply stopped taking it. I drive to the Howard Beach/North Conduit A train and park my car around there. I get to work in 40 minutes. No stress, few kids. Try it.

yeah, in the past i mostly ignored it or wasn't around it...but now that I have time to kill in Queens, I'm noticing that the 14 year olds in my neighborhood have really really foul mouths. I think that maybe being so bothered by them is a sign I'm getting old. I usually don't hear them talking about things they actually *did*, but just the kind of smut coming out of their mouths is nasty enough to hear. Then again, the adults in my neighborhood aren't much better. It doesn't really make me angry, just vaguely sad.

I wish I could drive instead, but I belong to that sad urban species of those with permits/non driver's IDs instead of a license and no car at home besides. As I remember it, the 85 wasn't that bad. At least not compared to the red bus adventures.

And the whole thing is sad. Kids nowadays are fucked up. Plus I feel bad for occasionally thinking that the problem is some of them obviously didn't get enough beatings when they were younger.

I guess my momma had the right idea. She beat a little sense in me.

Ill, you take the red and tan bus?
